Two new courses were held
here @ Coleg Y Bala in May! The first was
a girls' weekend, where a group of girls from
Porthmadog, Morfa Nefyn and Botwnnog came to
have a taste of the Coleg. The theme was
‘precious’ and the leaders explained to the
girls their value in God’s eyes. Great fun was
had with karaoke, a makeover night, chocolate
fountains, films, keep fit, swimming and a
chance to go shopping in Bala! A big thank you
to Rachel, Zoe and Heidi for arranging.
It was the local chidren that
attended ‘Miri Mai’. This was a day of fun,
learning about Jesus Christ feeding the five
thousand. A great time was had singing, crafft
making, playing all kind of games and swimming.
A tea party was had to finish the day. Thank
you, Owain and Gappers, for so much fun!
The summer term is now
approaching! We look forward to Wigwam (the
Family Weekend), the National Eisteddfod – when
several events will be held here @ Coleg y Bala
–
and the Summer Courses – the
