Who's Been Here?
During
January we have had various children and youth
courses at Coleg y Bala. The year started with
the Souled Out Reunion, and you can read more
about what happened on the ‘Youth Training-
Souled Out’ page.
A group of Children from Cerrigydridion and
surrounding area came to Coleg y Bala for the
first time. It was a very lively weekend, and it
was obvious that everyone had brilliant time
under the leadership of Nia and Meryl.
Once again there was a great response for the
Dyffryn Clwyd and Llanberis weekend with the
College overflowing with children. There was 52
altogether including children and leaders from
Llanberis, Prestatyn, Rhuthin, Llanefydd and
Llansannan. The children enjoyed Gwyn
Rhydderch’s lively sessions, and Meryl was also
there to keep an eye on things, especially when
it was time to get the children to sleep!
Last weekend to start off February Siôn and
Becca were responsible for the Welsh speaking
Youth Course, and Rhun and Oliver also came to
help with the leading. There was 26 Young
people, some came for the first time and others
had been many times before. We had a weekend
full of activities and challenges since it was
based on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’
and we looked at the Israelites coming out of
the wilderness into Canaan.
