Who's Been Here, January & February 2007
26th – 28th
January: Plant Dyffryn Clwyd a Llanberis
“Antur amser” was the theme for this fun-filled
weekend with the children from Dyffryn Clwyd and
Llanberis. On Friday evening we travelled back
in time to learn about Joseph and the antics he
got up to in Canaan and Egypt. Throughout the
course of the weekend the teams were faced with
many challenges to score points for their tem.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Cadwalider
the Camel who was paying us a visit here in
Coleg y Bala to help us learn about Joseph.
On Saturday morning we continued the story of
Joseph and learnt some new songs. There were
some impressive entries into a cup pyramid
challenge, which I’m sure more fun was had
knocking them down than building them up! Later
on in the morning we met Cadwalider again and
his spitting problems, telling us more about
Joseph and testing us all with his camel quiz.
