Who’s Been
Here - Souled Out Reunion
I often wondered what ‘Souled Out’ meant, but
after this weekend my desire is to be ‘Souled
Out’ for God. It was wonderful to study the book
of Haggai and to be reminded of our priorities.
I felt it was a ‘wake up’ call and that my
priorities have been wrong. The verse; ‘Give
careful thought to your ways. Go up into the
mountains and bring down timber and build the
house so that I may take pleasure in it and be
honoured’ says the Lord, was challenging. It
made me realize that along with others on our
course, we need to sort out our relationship
with God and put Him first in our lives. In 2008
I want to be ‘Souled Out’ for God and what a
great way to start the year!

To begin the New Year with the ‘Souled Out’
Reunion was the perfect way for me to realign my
priorities, and ensure God was at the centre,
from the start. I was very challenged across the
weekend, with regard to my relationship with
God, and His place in my life. Meeting with a
number of Christians was great and a real source
of encouragement for me. The fellowship we
enjoyed and times of prayer spent together were
a real blessing and essential as we start a new
year, desiring to be ‘Souled Out’ for God.
