Easter Days
•    A whole day presenting the story of Easter Week by means of a range of stories and activities for primary schools.
•    The building and gardens of Coleg y Bala are used as a backdrop for different scenes from the story.
•    The Easter Days are held for three weeks at the end of the term before the Easter holidays and they fill up quickly each year!
 Mari Jones and her Bible Day
•    A day of activities presenting the story of Mari Jones in the context of the the town where she came to search for a Bible by Thomas Charles.
•    Activities and presentations will be put on in the College as well as a journey to the town to Barclays Bank, the old home of Thomas Charles and to his statue outside Capel Tegid.

Use of the College as a centre to visit places of interest in the area and arrange your own programme
•    Coleg y Bala is set in a striking location and is ideal for field trips within the Snowdonia National Park.
•    There are two very famous lakes in the area: Llyn Tegid, Wales’s largest natural lake, and Llyn Celyn which plays an important part in Wales’s recent history.
•    Across the road to the College is the home of Michael D Jones, the founder of Y Wladfa in Paataagonia, over Cwm Prysor is the area of Hedd Wyn, the “Black Chair” bard, and in the other direction towards Dolgellau, exists the rich history of the Quakers who provide the background to Marion Eames’s famous nofel  ‘Yr Ystafell Ddirgel’( The Secret Room).

•    Members of the Children and Youth Team Service are available to visit your school to lead a joint Christian worship in a lively and suitable manner.
•    We can also come along to hold workshops or lessons on Christianity which fit in with the Religious Studies curriculum.
•    If you have a Society or Christian Union in the school, we are available to support you.
