Child Safety

It is Coleg y Bala’s policy to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people by
protecting them from neglect, physical, sexual and emotional harm.
As a Church we are fully committed to safeguarding the well-being of our members and those entrusted to our care.
Workers and volunteers at Coleg y Bala will at all times, show respect and understanding for children’s rights, promoting an ethos of listening to children and ensuring their safety and welfare, conducting themselves in a way that reflects the principles of the Christian Church.

We will treat all children and young people with respect and dignity.
We will always be ready to listen to children and young people without criticism.
We will work to build healthy relationships with children and be a good role model,
setting a good example.
Children and young people will be supervised at all times.
Voluntary workers and employees will not be left alone with children at any time.
